Concurso Nueva Sede Maquinarias
Equipo: Gonzalo Cruz, Luis Llerena, Alex Padilla
Lugar: Av. Javier Prado, Lince. Lima - Perú
The project is looking forward to solve the functional challenges of the contest: to integrate the actual structure with the new hangar for repair and maintenance of vehicles. The first floor is for the reception and delivery of vehicles. The second floor is for both normal mechanic and heavy mechanic workshops. Finally the third floor content the body shop and paint job facilities.
So the project proposal is a hangar that solves the requeriments of the client. In an operational level, the whole workshop is meant to be a ramp circuit on each side of the floor plans (1 ramp in the first, 2 in both second and third floor). Obtaining a fluid and continouus circuit without the need of industrial elevators. Meanwhile, in the exterior the project generates an advertising facade toward Javier Prado Ave, enhancing the Maquinarias brand and integrating and hierarchising the new volume with the old ones. Toward Saint Tropez St. we are looking for a closer look that is only meant to capture sunlight and winds without caring less about safety; in first floor level made of concrete with green horizontal and vertical lines who provide a kind look according with that street's residential type.
